These two kiddos have me wrapped around their fingers. I wanted to post their cutest most recent pictures. Corbin's picture is him waiting for preschool buddies to come pick him up. Shalyce's picture just catches me! Her eyes are so gorgeous, and those cheeks are so cute!

Try Again..

Well, we'll see about getting a shihtzu puppy this weekend. It's a few months old, and a cute ball of white fluff. The bad part is that I have to do the potty training! Corbin has been so bummed out after the last episode, and he says he misses his puppy. I was waiting for a litter to be born in St. George, and hoping for it to be ready around Christmas, but I have been looking everywhere for an all white ball of fluff. I found one on the internet, and we'll pick it up this weekend while we're up at my Dad's again. I will put a picture on here when my computer gets more room available. I just got back helping the Farrier put shoes on horses. Licorice had an appointment with the Chiropractor last week, just for a good check-up. He said that Licorice is in AWESOME shape. My farrier said he has AWESOME feet. So what can I say? I have an AWESOME horse! Lately I've had his tail in a wrap, but if I get the time, I'll unwrap it and give him a bath to show everyone how his tail DRAGS the ground! His mane is getting nice & long, too! I just don't know if I"ll ever have another great one like him ever again! He has everything going for him, except the ability to reproduce offspring!:):( Too bad he was "neutered"! The only pictures I have of Licorice on my computer right now are with Ally & Megan on his back. So "sorry" girls, but you're now officially on my blog!

Happy Birthday, Danielle! She's 21 now! Planning on the Mission Thang, and busy with school. Too bad Grandma Allen's not here to take her to pull some handles in Mesquite! Ha Ha! Actually, for Grandma's benefit, truth be known, Grandma made a vow in front of us during Christmas one year to never go back to pullin' handles, and she did stick to it. I'm sure she wouldn't want us to remember her for that, and she wants to just backhand my head. :)

Doggy DooDoo

Yep, we went up to SLC for the baptism, picked up the dog, brought him back from Ogden to Orem, it peed in the car once, then when we got it out of the car to walk into my dad's place it could BARELY walk! We didn't see it walk until then. IT WAS CRIPPLED! It was cute, but I coudln't stand to watch it suffer so bad. It could barely stand up to eat! I guess I should have asked more questions>?? It threw up & crapped all over my dad's garage. Anyway, I have a sour taste right now for indoor doggies. I am REALLY loving our big dog, Genie, right now. She's outside, plays with corbin, and listens really well. She has also become my horse riding buddy. And another advantage...if we go somewhere we don't have to find a babysitter for her:)!! I would really like a maltese or Shihtzu someday, but I'm not sure that i want the responsibilities that come with it.

Slide shows...

Let's see how this "slide" thing works...

Shalyce is sitting on my lap giving me a hickey on my arm while I type. OWCH! Tomorrow we'll be in SLC at Breanna's baptism, then after that we'll go get our new ShihTzu! His name is Jock! Don't know if that will change or not... We'll also be checking up on Dad, who had an emergency surgery last week. He had an Aortic Tear. SO SO SO lucky that it didn't rupture. John Ritter wasn't so lucky with the same thing a few years ago. They say only 1 in 10 people catch it quick enough to get surgery. I knew I had some lucky genes in my blood:)! Anyway, Dad better be takin' it easy, OR ELSE! He's already home, been shopping for lazy-boy recliners. (And he just had his rib cage sawed in half a week ago!) I think childbirth sounds much better. Well, my experiences anyway:) Well, ta ta for now!
