Hold onto your hats...here we go:
Tyler left for his mission, Vancouver Canada, SPanish speaking....back in March-ish. :) He's already had a baptism, and just said he's going to be baptising a couple he met when he first got to Vancouver!
Corbin has lost 3 teeth, he lost one of his front teeth a couple days ago...and that stinkin forgetful tooth fairy FORGOT to come the first night! Seriously, pansy fairy....get your teeth in order! ;)
No worries, she came last night, and Corbin came in waking me up too early, waving a dollar bill in my face. He already spent it on a robot toy at the Dollar Store this morning!

Corbin had his ROBOT PARTY for his 7th birthday! All I can say is that I rock! RObots all over the house, we made robots out of cardboard and foil, and I am the ultimate RObot Cake DECoRAtOr!!!!!!! :) ha ha!
Shalyce is POTTY TRAINED! YIPEE! Need I say more?!?!?!

She is also a BIG DADDY FAN! This characteristic only came through a couple months ago...as soon as Dave walks through the door, he instantly has her on his leg, or in his arms. She loves to give loves now!

Sally, (our Fox Trotter broodmare), had a gorgeous little filly in May...a Black Tobiano (Black & White paint) Filly! No curls, dangit, but she is still HYPO-ALLERGENIC!! She is a registerable Missouri Fox Trotter...and BOY does she have a nice gait already! Corbin wanted to name her the morning she was born, so after going through a TON of different WORDS he made up, we stuck with the last word he said....so her name is.....drumroll........ "Strayla" funny, huh! It's so hard for me to keep that name, but since my little cowboy came up with it, that's what she'll be known as! However, I get to determine what her PAPERED name will be...he he he!

Oh, I keep forgetting how long ago it was since I posted! MY MOM GOT MARRIED! ha ha! Gordon Anderson is the lucky guy and he's a great one, too! I'll have to post a picture of their wedding announcement that I made!

Another wedding I'm waiting on, is Sisalee's ...........I hope she reads this and gets really mad at me ! he he he!

.........anyway, when I remember more events that have happened this year of 2010 I will post them!.......well, maybe :)

My barbie horse...Duke :)

My handsome, brave knightS on their handsome knightly horse Licorice!

Blondies having fun!

I love this pic..kinda eerie..notice Licorice doesn't have a bridle on.....

SMOOCHIN on horseback....our favorite pasttime! :) XOXOXOXO

My 2 favorite guys! Aren't those boys in the black such cute HUNKS!?!?!?! My friend, Lisa Perry, took these family pics of us in the Church orchard a couple days before a huge windstorm came and blew all the pretty leaves off the trees! The day before we stole her camera and took pics with the family and horses. I'll post those pictures next.

Yes, you can be an adult and STILL need a "barbie horse"! This is Duke....or as I call him...."Dukey"... just after I brushed his mane and tail. I can't wait to see him slick down and darken up when it gets warmer in the summertime! EVERY GIRL NEEDS A PALOMINO! :)

Yes, he is as sweet as he is gorgeous! And he's just going to get prettier! He's only 2 years old!

Our little Darth Vader & giraffe girl trick-or-treating in Robert's Ranch. Again, it was perfect weather! I love Hurricane!

I love to see my little man in his leather chaps & cowboy hat and his "horse show shirt", as he calls it! He won High Point for the Year End Awards Banquet! My little CHAMP! :) I'm so proud! ha ha!

*Dave & me at the George Strait concert! We had SO much fun! We decided to splurge on 3 different concerts for our 10 year wedding anniversary! It was awesome! The seats were SO close! I could see George's pearly white teeth from our spot! Blake SHelton opened for him, too. THen a couple months later, we had the same seats for BRAD PAISLEY concert! I love you honeycakes!

*Do we have any Brian Regan fans out there? Uncle Tyler made a bigger version of this "Floyd Nimrod" voting poster and placed it on the corner of 400 S & 700 W next to another guy's. Corbin watched and duplicated his COOL uncle's idea...

Shalyce just started saying "Toot" after she passes some gas! We can thank her dad for that announcing habit!
*Danielle came home from her mission on October 23rd! She has since then, well adjusted! Corbin is excited everytime he gets to go play with "favorite aunt Danielle"! :)

(Waiting....waiting....waiting.....for Danielle to get off that plane! )

*We have taken up our time catching up on the full seasons of "Everybody Loves Raymond"...laughing our heads off!

Back in September, we went up to my dad's and his ward was having a party up at one of the member's little ranch. As a family they go to cutting, team penning events and I had a BLAST trying out his gelding. I get really annoyed watching this first half of the video, and I wish Dave would have zoomed in, because it was SO much faster than it looked! That horse was just having a blast cuttin that steer. My back was killing the next day, but it was SO worth it! :)

Meet one of my students. She is a bright 13 year old gal in 7th grade. She was born Spina Bifida. She was also adopted right at birth. She gets around in a wheelchair and can strut her stuff with her braces on her legs, too. :) However, she can't feel anything from her knees down. BUT WHEN SHE IS ON HER HORSE, she can go wherever she wants!!!!!!!

Her parents initially bought her a paint horse, but long story short, this horse was too quick and too dangerous for a gal who didn't have control of her legs. Trying to stay on while the horse spinned from spooking would not be an experiment we wanted to put her through. So one morning, while doing my ritual of eating my cereal with my laptop on my lap I searched through KSL.com on the horse classifieds section. I saw this little mare for cheap. I thought SOMETHING must be wrong with her for her to be priced so low! We called up the sellers (in St. Goerge of all places) and arranged for us to go try her out. She was great. After the vet checked her out and cleared her with a clean, sound structure her parents bought her on the spot. This little mare, who she has named "Cimarron" is WORTH at least $5,000 to $10,000...but they only paid $1500! She was MEANT to take care of this little girl! The week we brought her home, she rode her all over town, gave one of her friends a ride home, riding double, and the mare acts like she's been ridden all over the streets of Hurricane her whole life. She doesn't care about the sheep, scary 4-wheelers, or big Great Danes jumping up on fences right next to her. SUCH A SWEETIE! She picks up her feet for the gal to clean them out before each ride. It chokes me up sometimes to watch those 2 going around the arena, and all around town. The little girl may not have 2 strong legs underneath her at home, but under the saddle, she has 4 STRONG Faithful ones that take her wherever she pleases. :) Heavenly Father made these beautiful animals for a reason.....

My camera took its last breath in July...so I broke down and bought another a week ago. It's amazing how much I missed NOT having a camera.... So let's do a little journaling...

On July 17th, Dave & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary (June 26, 1999) by traveling up to SLC to watch GEORGE STRAIT in concert!! It was definately one of the things on my bucket list! We bought a ticket package to go to 3 concerts this summer, each concert we would have the same AWESOME, CLOSE seats! I could see George's Pearly White teeth from where we were sitting. I wish my camera took better pics.....oh wait, my dad's camera, because mine was BROKEN....Anyway, Blake Shelton opened for him, too. It was SO FUN!

*********************************************************************
Shaylee & Jack E Chan have been doing some fun stuff this summer....riding bareback and bridleLESS. He is SUCH an amazing pony and I must say that cowgirl riding him is pretty DANG amazing, TOO! :)

********************************************************************************
I've learned how to make bread this last month! It's a pretty FAIL PROOF method AND QUICK! My Mother-In-Law found this DVD on how to make bread and have it ready to eat in 1 hour! THat's my kind of bakin'! :) You can also use the same recipe to make Pizza and other things. Corbin had fun making a pepperoni Pizza face for Dad. He said, "Mom, Dad will be so proud of me for making this pizza, huh!" SUCH A DOLL! He loves to get his cool man APRON on and make cookies and bread with me. He really enjoys smashing the dough and "spanking" the dough before we shape it.
**************************************************************************I came in from feeding the horses and I found these two kiddos playing a game on the computer! So cute!

Most of the kids....some were MIA. :)

When I asked Corbin what kind of party he wanted for his birthday I was expecting 'Batman" or "Spiderman" party, but out came the words "Cowboy Party"! He also wanted a "6" cake that he saw in a magazine. You make two 8" cakes and cut them into the number 6. He was so excited to see that! When the kids showed up they made their own Cowboy Belt Buckles out of cardboard, tin foil and stickers. Yes, we were interfering with the local satellites I'm sure! After they made their buckles we opened presents and ate cake & ice cream. He opened the present we gave him at the very end. It was his new riding helmet, which he said, "Cool, a Army Guy Helmet!" and then inside the helmet was a new pair of spurs, which he called "Skurs"! He wanted to put them on immediately so he could be "Cool". They jingle-jangle all around the house now! I must say that I do love that sound. :)

After that the kids headed outside and rode the pony and Dave hooked up the pony cart and they all had numberous turns riding the pony cart. It was a hit! Corbin said, "Mom that was the best party EVER!" And boy am I glad, he better remember it. Because another party isn't going to happen until he turns 8. :)

As per his request...his "6" cake.

Shalyce loved the pony, too! Thanks to my friend Lisa Perry for letting me steal her pony & pony cart. Luckily Dave knew how to hook up the harness (he delivered the newspaper on a pony cart when he was a youngster).

Showing off his "Skurs" spurs. Me holding McKay, Megan holding Shalyce and driving the pony. What a great multi-tasker! Corbin and Max and AllyMegan & Ally with Shalyce....they are the best babysitters and horse riders ;)
