Little Bitty Jessops

Yesterday we took the kiddos to the new Rec Center in Washington. It was our first time there, and we LOVED IT! It was perfect for everyone! It's mostly indoors, opens up on the sides, but that way my little girl doesn't have to slap on the sunscreen but there is still that nice warm southern utah breeze that goes through. There's a lap pool right next to the main pool area. The main pool area for the kids is awesome. It's a gradual slope, and it's soft on the ground, so Shalyce didn't get a rash from crawling around. The slides/playground area was a riot! SOO much to do! Corbin loved the slide! He and Dave went down the larger spiral slide when we first got there, and after Corbin went under at the end he didn't want any part of that slide anymore! There was also a little "Lazy river" and a couple whirlpools. Shalyce was having so much fun, she forgot that she was sick! (She wasn't contagious, just grumpy). She did end up having a nap in Daddy's arms for about 10 minutes then BACK to the water for her! She was mad when they blew the whistle and we had to get out for 5 minutes! She was twisting in our arms trying to get down into the water again! Corbin wasn't so keen about the idea of buckets of water sporadically pouring on his head, so he would cautiously go up the stairs to catch a ride on the slide, trying to dodge the huge water bucket spills!
