Shaylee's birthday was on the 22nd, and Corbin was so excited to make her a birthday cake. Trek and Dacen were over for the fun. THey were so excited to SURPRISE her when she came through the door.
Shaylee also had her stock show last weekend, did a great job....here she was practicing her "Showmanship smile" :)
Shay started jumping her horse, Jack (ha ha, "jumpin jack") the other day, and this is some video of her first times jumping...

Corbin was SO excited to be in the horse show! Dad & Corb went in together. Corb wasn't so happy when he realized that Dad had to hold the leadline....he wanted to ride Licorice ALL BY HIMSELF! Then we told him that was the rule, and he got over it, reluctantly. :)

We went to D.I. and bought him a "horse show shirt" for $2.00

a new cowboy hat for $20,

2nd place ribbon....priceless
He wore his ribbon on his shirt the rest of the day. He was SO PROUD of himself. HOW COOL IS THIS?! My little cowboy is a horse ridin' fool!
This is a video of the judge asking him to "back" his horse. The judge also gave him a dollar...so cute! He won a cute baggy full of toys and candy, too :)

Well, I thought "Wouldn't it be nice to have a cute little baby horse on Easter Sunday?" then it happened last night at 10:30. This was my order....Healthy, Curly, Filly, Palomino....well I got half of the order...a STRAIGHT FILLY ( no curls and a boring Sorrel color). She's still cute, though. She'll be a beautifully gaited mount when she's older. I like her markings, too. Here she is!
My friend thought of the creative Easter name of "Cadbury" and it stuck....so here she is....

Happy girl with chocolate chips melted on her face:) She's learning how to CHEESE it for the camera! She even giggles when she has the camera pointed at her.

My Mr. Blue Eyes!

Getting ready for the Easter Egg Trail that the Easter Bunny left for him!
YAY! He got the boots that he's been wanting for a long time!Oh, and my mare is "waxing up"....the colostrum is slowly building and leaking out, which translates into...I may not have any sleep tonight, and hopefully have a baby SOON!

Brianna, our neice, is a horse loving fool! She came down from SLC and brought her boots so she could ride Licorice, and BOY, DID SHE EVER! ALL Day LONG! :)

My friend needed video of her horses and since my back is on the verge of going out again, Dave was kind enough to ride! However, he got this little mare gaiting even better than I ever have. Check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfvOEA-AtKU He definately has the "touch"
